What is a travel eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM you install on a compatible phone. A travel eSIM gives you access to mobile data through the networks and destinations included in your plan, without inserting another physical SIM.

Will my phone work with an eSIM?

Your exact device model and regional variant must support eSIM, and your phone must be unlocked for use with other carriers. Check the manufacturer’s instructions and your carrier’s lock status before buying.

When should I install and activate it?

Install using a reliable internet connection and follow your provider’s instructions. Some plans begin when installed; others begin on the first connection to a supported network. Read the activation policy for your specific plan first.

Can I keep my usual phone number?

On a compatible dual-SIM phone, you can usually keep your home SIM enabled while selecting the travel eSIM for mobile data. Your home carrier may still charge for calls, texts or roaming. Disable data roaming on your home line and review its charges.

Can I make calls and share my connection?

Data-only plans support messaging and calling apps over the internet; they do not include a regular phone number, calls or SMS. Hotspot availability depends on the plan and network. Check the plan’s terms before purchase.

What happens if I use all my data?

Your data connection may stop once the allowance is used. If the provider supports top-ups, you can buy more data; otherwise you may need a new plan. Check your device’s data use and your provider’s balance information.
